We want you to be happy wearing a saree! To this end we try to provide the most convenient and customer-friendly options we can, however since every product is custom made as per your measurements there are some limitations.
RETURNS
READY2SHIP PRODUCTS: Products under the title "Ready2Ship" may be retuned for a refund or exchange to our USA warehouse within 7 days of your order date. Original shipping charges may be deducted and the product must be unworn, with original packaging and tags intact. Please contact us for an RMA number for returning the product. Returns will not be accepted without a valid RMA number.
ALL OTHER CUSTOM AND STANDARD SIZE SAREE, SARONGS, BLOUSES, DRESSES:
In the unlikely event you receive a wrong or damaged item we will gladly compensate you for the full cost of the product. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving the product with the pictures of the issue and we will provide you with a return label. Please note our products go through a 3 point inspection before shipping with pictures of the product taken at the time of packing, with measurements matching the ordered measurements.
In the event we have stitched the product with wrong measurements from the size chart or +/- 1.5 inches more than the measurements you provided, you may return the item to for a full refund. Please note in some cases where we find the measurements provided are incorrect, we may contact you to adjust the measurements given.
DELAYS
Our delivery timelines are accurate but not guaranteed. In the unlikely event, the product is grossly delayed (over 30 days)and has not shipped, we may provide you with a full refund, however we will contact you well before this timeline in case of any issue.
Once shipped it is your responsibility to coordinate with the courier for delivery. We use only reputed couriers like DHL, USPS, UPS and Fedex.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations or alterations may be made within 24 hours of placing your order. Thereafter we will try to accommodate your request but we cannot guarantee it is possible since processing begins once your order is placed.
- PRE-SHIPMENT CANCELLATIONS
Q: I just placed an order but now want to cancel it. How can I do this?
A: Please e-mail, call or Whatsapp us immediately with your order # and request to cancel. Order cancellation requests must be received within 24 hours of order placement for a 100% refund back to your used method of payment. After 24 hours, order cancellation requests are only approved on a case-to-case basis. If your order cancellation request is approved, you will receive a full-refund.
Q: Why must I inform you within 24 hours of order placement if I want to cancel my order?
A: As soon as you place your order, we get to work right away! At this point, we start work on customizing or shipping your saree. So, we request all cancellation requests be reported to us within 24 hours of order placement only.
Q: I missed an important detail in my order. Do I need to cancel my order for this and place a new order?
A: Not at all! If you need to update something in your shipping/contact information or need to update your measurements, please e-mail us at support@karmaplace.com within 48 hours of your order placement and we will make the required adjustments. Once we have shipped the item to you, however we will not be able to make any changes.
- POST-SHIPMENT RETURN REQUESTS
Q: I received my order but it is not correct. What can I do about this?
In the event we have sent you a wrong, faulty, damaged or item not as per measurement given by you, you may return the product to us for a full refund. We will send you a return shipping label for the same.
*Please note we do a thorough Quality Check on all orders, for damage, size, etc. along with pictures of the original product prior to shipping. Your claim will be compared to our information. We will accept genuine cases only for full refunds.
Q: I received my order but would like to return it, because I don't like it, it doesn't fit or I changed my mind. How can I do this?
A: Due to the custom nature of the product we cannot accept returns for this reason.
Q: I received my order and there's an error. What will you do to fix this?
A: To err is human - we take strong measures to ensure that our products reach you in the best possible condition, however, if your order reaches you in one of the following conditions, we will take back the product at our own cost and get the correct product delivered out to you ASAP:
- - Received the wrong product: We will send you a label to ship the product back to us and send you the correct item.
- - Received an item with a manufacturing defect: We will send you a label to ship the product back to us and send send you a new product.
- - Received an item with measurements which differ from my provided measurements: We will take back the product from you and inspect the item for any measurement issues. If indeed there is a measurement issue from our end, we will alter the product or send you a new product. If upon inspection it is found that there is indeed no measurement issue from our end, we will happily alter your garments free of cost and send them back to you. However, you will be billed for the return label and for return shipment charges to ship the product back to you.
- Received an item and it doesn't fit because I measured wrong: No worries. You can ship the item to us and we can send you an alternate size, however, you will be billed for return shipment charges to ship the product back to you.
