Delivery Time:

For customers in the USA and other countries, you can expect delivery via standard shipping within 15-20 business days depending on the product ordered. Items marked :"Ships in 5 days"  are shipped within 5 business days, however Plus size and orders with intricate blouse design may take an addition 2 days. 

Note we are closed on Sundays and major USA and Indian holidays.  A breakdown of this is as follows: Items are usually dispatched within 10-15 business days of purchase.  Express shipping which is used for all orders will take 4-6 days after dispatch.  Please note since orders are processed and shipped from India, there is a time difference of +1 day for your order to get processed.

We do know and understand that you are purchasing your saree for a special occasion and try our best to meet your deadlines.  Please plan ahead to ensure sufficient time to get your product. 

Shipping Charges:

Shipping charges will be mentioned at the time of check out. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Tax & Import Duties:

The Custom Duty / Local Taxes / Import Duties depend on your country of delivery.  For USA duty is not charged up to $800.  For UK, you may see applicable VAT and Duty rates at check-out.  All other countries you will be contacted by the carrier at the time of delivery for any VAT or duty for your country and you may pay the delivery company directly for these charges. 

Free shipping :

  • Free shipping maybe applicable only at certain times as mentioned on the website. In the event Free shipping is not applicable, you will see shipping rates at checkout. 
  • We reserve the right to end or alter this promotion at any time.
  • Standard T&C will be applied.

 

We want you to be happy wearing a saree! To this end we try to provide the most convenient and customer-friendly options we can, however since every product is custom made as per your measurements there are some limitations.

RETURNS

In the event you receive a wrong or damaged item you may return the product to us for a full refund. Please submit your request for a return HERE.

In the event we have stitched the product with wrong measurements you may return the item to us for a full refund.

If for any unexpected reason like a courier delay etc you do not receive your item within 30 days you may request for a full refund.

Unfortunately, due to the custom nature of the items we cannot offer return and refunds for reasons like “changed mind” or if the measurements submitted to us were not accurate.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations or alterations may be made within 24 hours of placing your order.  Thereafter we will try to accommodate your request but we cannot guarantee it is possible since processing begins once your order is placed.

  

  1. PRE-SHIPMENT CANCELLATIONS

Q: I just placed an order but now want to cancel it. How can I do this? 

A: Please e-mail, call or whatsapp us immediately with your order # and request to cancel.  Order cancellation requests must be received within 24 hours of order placement for a 100% refund back to your used method of payment.  After 24 hours, order cancellation requests are only approved on a case-to-case basis.  If your order cancellation request is approved, you will receive a full-refund.

Q: Why must I inform you within 24 hours of order placement if I want to cancel my order?

A: As soon as you place your order, we get to work right away!  At this point, we start work on customizing or shipping your saree.  So, we request all cancellation requests be reported to us within 24 hours of order placement only.

Q: I missed an important detail in my order. Do I need to cancel my order for this and place a new order?

A: Not at all! If you need to update something in your shipping/contact information or need to update your measurements, please e-mail us at support@karmaplace.com within 48 hours of your order placement and we will make the required adjustments.  Once we have shipped the item to you, however we will not be able to make any changes.

 

  1. POST-SHIPMENT RETURN REQUESTS

Q: I received my order but it is not correct.  What can I do about this?

In the event we have sent you a wrong, faulty, damaged or item not as per measurement given by you, you may return the product to us for a full refund.  We will send you a return shipping label for the same. 

*Please note we do a thorough Quality Check on all orders, for damage, size, etc.  along with pictures of the original product prior to shipping.  Your claim will be compared to our information.  We will accept genuine cases only for full refunds. 

Q: I received my order but would like to return it, because I don't like it, it doesn't fit or I changed my mind.   How can I do this?

A: Unfortunately, due to the custom nature of the product we cannot accept returns for this reason.

Q: I received my order and there's an error. What will you do to fix this?

A: To err is human - we take strong measures to ensure that our products reach you in the best possible condition, however, if your order reaches you in one of the following conditions, we will take back the product at our own cost and get the correct product delivered out to you ASAP:

  1. Received the wrong product: We will send you a label to ship the product back to us and send you the correct item.
  2. Received an item with a manufacturing defect: We will send you a label to ship the product back to us and send send you a new product.
  3. Received an item with measurements which differ from my provided measurements: We will take back the product from you and inspect the item for any measurement issues. If indeed there is a measurement issue from our end, we will alter the product or send you a new product. If upon inspection it is found that there is indeed no measurement issue from our end, we will happily alter your garments free of cost and send them back to you. However, you will be billed for the return label and for return shipment charges to ship the product back to you.
  4. Received an item and it doesn't fit because I measured wrong: No worries. You can ship the item to us and we can send you an alternate size, however, you will be billed for return shipment charges to ship the product back to you.
